Vellex Computing showcased advanced compute and AI solutions during SF Climate Week

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Vellex Computing showcased its innovative compute and AI platform at San Francisco Climate Week during the "Live from the Future - A Deep Tech Expo," co-hosted by Activate, The Engine Ventures, and Breakthrough Energy Fellows.

Vellex presented its neural-inspired hardware accelerator and agentic AI, designed to help project developers navigate complex utility and ISO regulations. This technology aims to create a resilient and reliable electric grid for the future by enhancing grid resilience and accelerating renewable energy adoption. Demonstrations highlighted the technology's ability to rapidly and efficiently solve complex optimization problems at the grid edge, offering significant advantages for grid design, control, and management. Vellex illustrated its potential to transform grid modeling, ensure compliance during project interconnection, and perform advanced edge optimization.

Vellex Computing Named as Semifinalist in the American-Made Solar Prize

The American-Made Solar Prize, a multimillion-dollar competition funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and administered by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), has selected 20 teams to advance as semifinalists in Round 6 of the prize, including Vellex Computing. Each team won $50,000 in cash prizes and is eligible to continue to the next phase of the competition, which is designed to energize U.S. solar innovation.
